Located between Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, NC, River Road Pottery produces a range of pieces, from tableware to table lamps (and even floor lamps!), decorative pieces, raku and horsehair pottery, and wall-hangings.

Surrounded by hardwood trees, and close to the Haw River, we fire our pots in backyard kilns, in a peaceful environment that is also home to owls, deer, rabbits and many birds.  All of our tableware pieces are wheel-thrown, and dishwasher and microwave-safe.  All glazes are food-safe.
